課程目標:

 

  • 培養學生閱讀語體文的能力。
  • 培養學生寫作的基本能力,使能運用語體文來表達。
  • 培養學生聆聽和說話的能力,並養成良好的聆聽和說話的態度。
  • 藉着本科教學,啟發學生思考,培養良好品德,增進他們對中國文化的認識。
  • 提高學生對本科學習的興趣,使他們有繼續進修本科的自學能力,並加強個人及對社會的責任感。

  • 鼓勵學生閱讀:設早讀、午讀課時段、由老師推介圖書、參加閱讀比賽。
  • 學生利用資訊科技學習,以不同模式展示學習成果。
  • 設中華文化日,學生從活動中認識中國文化。

非華語學生學習支援
Support for Learning and Teaching Chinese for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students

學與教:

 

  • 為中文能力稍遜的非華語學生提供課後個別學習及課後功課輔導班
  • 安排教學助理入班協助中文能力稍遜的非華語學生於課堂學習
  • 發展低小校本中文課程,透過繪本教學及主題識字,提升非華語學生認讀及閱讀能力
  • 適時加入電子教學元素,利用不同的學習平台及應用程式,增強非華語學生的學習興趣及動機

 

建構共融校園

 

  • 舉辦中華文化日,透過猜燈謎、穿華服、玩傳統民間玩意等活動,讓非華語學生感受中國傳統文化
  • 提供翻譯版本的學校通告,讓非華語家長能夠清楚了解學校的政策及編排
  • 於家長會安排教學助理為非華語家長作翻譯,加強老師與非華語家長溝通,從而了解子女的學習狀況,更好地融入校園生活

Information for NCS parents

Learning and Teaching

 

  • Provide individual study and homework support after class for NCS who having difficulties in learning
  • Appoint a teaching assistant to assist NCS in class
  • Develop a lower elementary school-based Chinese Language curriculum through picture book teaching and thematic vocabularies in order to enhance NCS’ reading and recognition skills
  • Through using e-learning platform and APPs for teaching and learning to increase NCS’ interest and motivation.

 

Building an Inclusive Campus

 

  • Organize the Chinese Culture Day for the Non-Chinese students, they can understand more about the traditional Chinese culture by playing the guessing game ‘lantern riddles’, wearing traditional Chinese clothing and playing the traditional Chinese' toys and so on.
  • Provide translated versions of school notices so that NCS parents can clearly understand the school’s policies and arrangements.
  • Teaching assistants are arranged to be the interpreter for NCS parents in various parent associations to enhance communication between teachers and NCS parents, so as to understand their children’s learning status and help them integrate into the school life.

    In the form of videos, cartoons and audio recordings, NCS can learn by self at least 300 common vocabularies in daily life.

  2. Learning Chinese is Fun
    This material was compiled according to the Guide to the Pre-primary Curriculum 2006 and documents on NCS learning Chinese for non-Chinese kindergarten students and newly-arrived children learning Chinese. Parents could use this as teaching aids for students, helping them to integrate into the society.
